Random neural activity

I was driving today and I happened to listen again to this Kaiser Chiefs’ song. Immediately this picture came to my mind, as I had the song on my iPod on my first trip to New York and the lyrics “Oh my God I can’t believe it - I’ve never been this far away from home” fitted perfectly how I felt looking at Downtown Manhattan from the 41st floor of the Empire State Building

The second thought I had, this morning, has been about a friend and colleague that moved to New York last summer. As he writes in his blog (mainly in Italian), sometimes you can feel “lonely” at being somehow out of touch with family and friends. Hey man, as the song says, I’m sure you’ll “come back stronger than a powered up Pac-Man” (if you decide to come back at all ) !
