Frozen Grand Central

Hey, these guys at Improv Everywhere know how to set up a nice scene in a public place….

Just have a look at the Frozen Grand Central “mission”: in a coordinated act 200+ people simultaneously “froze” in the crowded Grand Central station in Manhattan… just to simultaneously “unfroze” a few minutes later and go on with their business like nothing happened.

The video is well done and it’s amusing to see other people reactions. I guess some of them got quite nervous, not understanding what was going on and fearing something really bad…

FEFF - Far East Film Festival in Udine

The time is coming again. The local Cineforum is in turmoil with a lot of talk about what movies will be proposed and which stars will be present at the next Far East Film Festival to be held in Udine next April.

I attended two editions so far, and talking about the Festival with friends, in a pub, the funny trailer of the last edition come back to mind… :-)

Let the monkey write, but give it a few hints

Philip Parker is reported by The Guardian as being the author of more than 85,000 books. Yes, dozens of thousands of books. How’s that possible?!?

Looks like Mr Parker developed a software that actually writes books for him, and this reminds me of the infinite monkey theorem somehow :-)

Monkey using typewriter

If anyone out there got a chance of reading one of those books, I’d be curious to hear comments…

And of course the question arises: did the guy actually read all the boos he “wrote”? :-D
