Happy Birthday, Mr Mandela!

Today Nelson Mandela, a man that has left a distinctive mark in history, turns 90. The event has been celebrated in many ways during the last weeks, and I’m happy to have attended at least one of those parties!

Franz Ferdinand’s gig

Franz Ferdinand’s gig last night in Ferrara, and I didn’t miss the chance to see them live. I’ve liked their music since their first album, and the live performance didn’t disappoint me at all :-)

Two friends were with me, even if they didn’t know the band very well… hope they really had a good time as they said ;-)

うずまき (Vortex)

うずまき (Vortex) is a Japanese horror movie by director Higuchinsky, and it was also the weekly event of the local Cineforum. I’ve been particularly happy to attend as I missed almost all the movies in this last Cineforum’s season… :-(

Now back to the movie…

Some nights you just crave for an horror movie. You want to feel scared. Adrenaline travelling fast in your blood. You want to literally jump from your seat.

When one of those nights comes, well just choose another movie… うずまき is perfect to be watched in a silly and noisy group, commenting on the most absurd scenes and sharing the occasional laugh. It’s a very good way to spend your night, as long as you don’t need the adrenaline shot :-)
