Next stop: Auschwitz

Posted on December 10th, 2008 in Freedom & Rights, History by michele

Today is the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

60 years later, not only the Declaration itself is largely unattended, but an institution that’s supposed to have been based on Love and Charity for the last 2000 years can afford to say that not really everyone should be granted the same basics rights.

I’m talking about the Roman Catholic Church, of course. The Pope says, for example, that wherever in the world a person can be legally executed just for being homosexual, well that’s not to be changed, it’s not that bad after all.

Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s have a mass hanging in St. Peter Square.

I wonder if maybe the Roman Catholic Church is having second thoughts about the closing of Auschwitz.

Dopo quest’uscita la chiesa entra ufficialmente nel rango di Associazione a Delinquere.
