Today Nelson Mandela, a man that has left a distinctive mark in history, turns 90. The event has been celebrated in many ways during the last weeks, and I’m happy to have attended at least one of those parties!

Galileo now a Vatican hero

Looks like a statue of Galileo Galilei is to be erected inside the Vatican walls, as reported by TimesOnline. So maybe the Catholic Church really wants to close the discussion about the great scientist and his Inquisition trial by clearly recognizing his great figure. There has recently been a lot of discussion on this topic, specifically on statements by the current Pope (the-Pope-formerly-known-as-Ratzinger).

Commodore VIC-20 aboard Star Trek’s Enterprise?

In the last months we saw celebrations for the 25th Anniversary of first Commodore 64. It has been successful, no doubt about that.

But what about Commodore VIC-20? Did you know it was used in Star Trek by Captain Kirk? ;-)
