Learning Italian - The funny way

Speaking many languages is great. I’d like to speak so many of them… and as of lately I’ve started tackling Russian…

On the other hand, many friends around the world tell me they’d like to speak Italian. Some of them even say that girls go crazy when you speak Italian, so… maybe you should try, too! I cannot but strongly recommend this Monty Pyhton’s Italian class… ;-)

Berlusconi hails Obama as “suntanned”

I didn’t vote for this ridiculous guy currently Prime Minister in my country… but many did I’m afraid… hope some of them started understanding, in these last few months, what’s going on in Italy and who the guy really cares about…

Just have a look at the Herald Tribune’s article for this latest, shameful episode of what may seem a soap opera but is in fact Italian politics.

I’m really sick of this all…

Ops… HE did it again

No Britney Spears, not even this time. HE is our Prime Minister, Mr. Silvio Berlusconi.

He’s been back in office for a few weeks now, and here we again. New law proposals that would (unintentionally, of course) help his own legal troubles.

First of all, let’s abolish telephone tapping. Hey, what is police to use in investigations? OK, so let’s keep it, but just for a few crimes: terrorism, mafia, stuff like that. What about corruption? No thanks, not interesting enough.

And how are we going to speed up trials? That’s in fact a huge issue in Italy. Well, the answer is easy: let’s freeze all old trials, but for a few crimes: terrorism, mafia, stuff like that. What about corruption? No thanks, not interesting enough.

Mmm… Guess what kind of crime is involved in Berlusconi’s legal troubles?
