All you had you wasted

And what a pile of rubble you left behind you…

Don’t believe in love
Don’t believe in hate
Don’t believe in anything
That you can’t waste

You stupid girl
You stupid girl
All you had you wasted
All you had you wasted

Happiness

Posted on October 16th, 2008 in Music, Movies & TV, My (neuro) life by michele

This is for a dear friend, still fighting to find her place in Life, still struggling to find her peace of mind… what we all crave for is Happiness…

There’s just one thing
That we all crave
From the cradle
To the grave
A state of grace
Or state of mind
A point in space
Or point in time
In time of peace
In times of war
The self same goal
That we yearn for
Some have it all
But still have less
What we all need is happiness
Happiness is what you need
Yeah happiness is all around
It’s not easy to define it
No it can’t easily be found
It can’t easily be found
You know that it’s true
Cos’ happiness
Just can’t be bought
Such purity more precious still than gold
And happiness
Can’t just be taught
When you’re young or if you’re old
No matter how - how hard you try
In your own life, and through your years
With every up - must come a down
Enjoy the laughter and the tears
Of happiness

Not missing in action (yet)

Posted on October 13th, 2008 in My (neuro) life by michele

Dear reader (at least the few on my payroll should be reading this :-) ), no, I’m not missing in action. Or at least, not yet.

I’ve been pretty busy as of lately, and ended up neglecting this blog. Not a capital offence, at the end of the day, as it’s mainly for me and my pleasure.

If, from time to time, you happened to enjoy it, that’s unintentional and purely accidental.

That said, what I’ve been busy with?

The weather is still quite good in Italy, and I’ve spent a lot of time out with friends. Let’s say that I’m once again on the bright side of Life, although Happiness is something we seldom taste.

I’m still attending my swimming training session, and the fun is always guaranteed. We end up laughing every night we meet.

And, last but not least, I’m back to studying a foreign language. After getting a short exposure a few years ago, I’m now attending a proper course of Russian. :-) I’ll need to find the time for studying, this time is for real… and I already have a lot of homework to be done!

My US/Cyrillic клавиатура (keyboard) is back in use, and let’s see what happens next…

Пока! ;-)
